Therapeutic modalities: Systemic, person-centred/humanistic, somatic, solutions-focused, feminist

My name is Rebecca and I use she/her pronouns or no pronouns. I believe that curiosity and humility about our role in systems of oppression, in our relationships to ourselves, and in our relationships to each other are some of the most important skills we can learn. I am graduating from Athabasca University’s Master of Counselling program in December 2022. I completed a 400-hour practicum at the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton as part of this graduate program and am also an advanced level student of Somatic Experiencing.

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to be kept company in the hard parts of being a person. I use systemic, person-centred/humanistic, somatic, solutions-focused, and feminist therapies and I am a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (membership number 11241795).

I see anyone 18 and over in individuals or group settings. At this time, my services are not covered by most insurance plans. I offer sliding scale appointments and we can settle on a fee that will work for you whenever we first meet.
